Your First Visit Seattle, WA Prior to your first visit with us, we will mail you registration paperwork to complete and bring with you to your appointment. Alternatively, you may download the forms from our website. It is helpful to have the forms filled out prior to your appointment to ensure we have adequate time with you.The first appointment is a Comprehensive Exam which includes a discussion of your dental concerns, a review of your health and dental history, a radiographic survey, an head and neck exam, and an intraoral exam. Following this evaluation, we will then discuss any treatment needs with you, including the type of cleaning you will need. Together, we will develop a treatment plan that addresses both your concerns and your needs. Typically a cleaning with our hygienist will follow the exam, assuming there are no urgent dental issues that require immediate attention. Our front office will put together a financial estimate for any recommended treatment and review payment options with you. We will look up your insurance benefits as a courtesy but cannot guarantee if or how your insurance will pay. Our treatment estimates are exactly that - estimates. It is ultimately the responsibility of the patient to determine exact benefits, as there is information that the insurance company will only disclose to the plan member.
